Millennium Stadium,
Quality: 8+
Very Good Audience Recording

Equipment & Process: Mic – Sony ECM-719 > MD – Aiwa FM-80 > Wavelab Lite> Tracked
Taper: Iron Paddy
Taper Notes:
"Only downside to this is 1-The people with me didn't understand how taping works so please
excuse the "I need a pee" and "The bar is shut" comments!!  Also as I was at the end of
the row there are a lot of people passing me so sound drops at times (but not often).
I am happy with the results of this.  Cracking gig and a great atmosphere.
Due to the equipment I use I needed to change the MD tape and this was done just as "I'll
go Crazy...." starts so I am missing the first part of this track
Recorded from Block U18 Row 22.  This is behind the sound desk about half way up the
2nd teir".

Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience - Seattle 2010 [no label, 2CD]

Live at the WaMu Theater, Seattle, WA
November 27, 2010.
Very good stereo soundboard.

The Led Zeppelin legacy continues…
The CD features the november 27, 2010 Seattle show.
While Jason Bonham needs no introduction to the Led Zep oeuvre, he does spend the start of the show and in-between-songs banter to talk about his late father, John (also affectionately known as “Bonzo”).
This is what Jeffrey Clark Grossman of WENN.com commented on the November 8 New York show:
It was literally a drum solo with four sticks: Jason Bonham thundering through “Moby Dick,” from Led Zeppelin II, with his late father, John “Bonzo” Bonham, during the first set of Jason Bonham: The Led-Zeppelin Experience at New York’s Best Buy Theater on November 8. The elder Bonham appeared via audio and film clips of the drummer playing the song live with Led Zeppelin, while his son doubled and elaborated on the snare gunshots and kick-drum-and-tom bombs in synchronized real time…
“This is my story, what my dad and Led Zeppelin meant to me,” Jason said in a prerecorded overture, accompanied by family photos and films of the childhood and teenage Bonzo… But the night - which went the distance from “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” and “The Lemon Song” to “The Ocean” and “Kashmir” - is mostly about his dad’s titanic presence in that music and the giant absence created by his death. “Thank You” came with more home movies, while Jason, a keen student of Zeppelin concert bootlegs, revived and built on his father’s live improvisations on “How Many More Times” and the extended closing turbulence of “Dazed and Confused.”
“I got to play with my heroes,” Jason remarked about the ’07 concert, except “one of them wasn’t there.” In this show, he gets to have Bonzo in the house every night - a reunion, at last, of father and son.

U2 - 2011-05-29 - Winnipeg, Canada (FLAC)

Recording Equipment:
Sound Professionals AT933 Hyper Cardioids > SP-SB1-SL Battery Box
(Bass Roll off @ 107Hz) > Tascam DR-07 (SD card)

FLAC Process:
USB 2.0 > Adobe Audition (Normalized to 100% & fades in/out) > CD Wave (Track Splitting) > Trader's Little Helper (FLAC Level 8)

Note of the Taper: "Do not sell this recording - karma is a bitch!
U2 returns to Winnipeg for the first time since Popmart (which was my first ever U2 concert back in 1997)Throughout the band changeover, the scrolling screen refers to "Winipeg" which certainly doesn't go unnoticed by the fans, or the band for that matter.
The Royal Canadian Air Force does a flyover just before the show starts. The Poem before "Beautiful Day" is actually the lyrics to "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" by Winnipeg's Bachman Turner Overdrive. Despite "Moment of Surrender" being on the printed setlist, the show ends after "With or Without You" either because of the
curfew or because of the ever dropping temperature.
Overall a pretty nice recording of a great night, there is a little wind pressure from time to time (which I really only noticed in the quieter/acoustic spots of the set) but it was really quite windy in this small, open-ended stadium. Special thanks to the drunken idiots behind me, thank god for hypercards!
Enjoy!"

Review from digital experience:
"This is DVD and Audio releases for 12th Counterparts tour show in Fresno, originally taped and released (sold) by Living After Midnight (US Bootlegger) in 1994. Unfortunately could not locate the VHS copy sold by LAM (or even the master tape), sourced first S-VHS copy from the sold VHS (so maybe 2nd gen. copy from edited master).
However, the picture and audio qualities are MUCH better than previously released versions ("Sounding Great in Fresno (Simple Man Productions)" DVD and "Nuts and Bolts (Voodoo Records)" CD - this one sourced higher gen. VHS or VHS to cassette copy) and this might well reserved the original release quality. Technically, there're a couple of glitches 'Dreamline' and 'Tom Sawyer' (only a few seconds) that seems present even on the master tape. Also, there're
some amount of tracking error noise (or something like that) could not avoid during digital transfer. But the overall quality is very good, particularly the sound quality is quite good for camcorder recording (this is the most big difference with the previously released titles).
This is one of my favorite audience recording CP Video and the quality is pretty good, not the same category of "Big Apple Box (Digital Reproductions)" that sourced master tape though, you could enjoy to watch or listen to this exciting concert. Rush - Through The Camera Eye - DVD RARE - REPOST

Rush - Through The Camera Eye - DVD REPOST
New links Fileserve & Hotfile
(Restored by GT MEDIA)

This is a transfer from VHS released in 1984. Were also created menus and used a bit of noise reduction and eq. The original VHS cover was converted and restored, which is also included in this upload. The main reasons for putting this compilation to DVD was to have digitized versions of Vital Signs, The Body Electric and Countdown which for some reason chronicles omitted! This is one of the lesser known Rush video's, released in 1984, a year later put on a laser-disc but we still have to wait on a DVD release. It's the era that Rush looked like dressmen on the catwalk, especially the handsome Alex.
The music turned into more swinging and the trio blended styles like ska, reggae and new wave into their early Eighties 'powerprog', obviously influenced by The Police.
One of the highlights is the final part of the swinging composition Vital Signs, very compelling with a soaring synthesizer sound, propulsive guitar riffs on a white Fender Stratocaster and dynamic drumming, a very captivating and distinctive Rush sound in the mid-Eighties!
"Review: This video collection from Rush showcases some of the most brilliant work in their history. One of the best aspects of this collection is that most of the songs recieved little if, any airplay. So it is a great opportunity to see and hear some truly creative work from one of the world's best,(and most underrated) rock bands. Highpoints of the collection include The Body Electric and The Enemy Within from the Grace Under Pressure album and Vital Signs from the Moving Pictures album .But the finest work in this collection is Countdown from the Signals album. The band wrote the song in honor of the space shuttle Columbia's first liftoff and the video has excellent scenes from the launch. "

Drew's Notes:
"First, Thanks to the tapers, for without whom, we wouldn't be enjoying this fine sounding show! The IEM is nearly flawless, it does have a few flaws here and there, not bad at all, very listenable.
The masseygo source is low in the mix because it has some distortion on it.
I did a bit of eq on all sources, not much on the IEM, it didn't need much.
This differs from the source used on the Brussels Multi-cam, because, somehow,
some of my original files got corrupted and then bedoc's recording showed up,
so I decided to add that in and redo it. I don't even have a copy of my 3-source matrix that some people have.
The Bonus tracks are all you will ever hear from the Rome Matrix, so please don't ask for more, the IEM had a lot of interference."

"Taper notes: Lot of technical problems for the band, expecially for The Edge and his guitars. Excellent show anyway and nice long weekend in Vienna with my U2 friends: my room-mates Marco and Francesca, all "placers" and other guys I met on the field and in the city. This one is for you!"

Comments:
Amazing! When we came home with my friend, we "prayed" for a good bootleg and here it is! Nice sound, clear and strong. Drums are very listenable, Bono's voice is strong and the guitars are allright. High and bass too. Almost soundboard quality, one of the bests!
Overall: Extra speciall show with the mistakes and this made Vienna Night unique!
